Helix Exploration plc is a UK-listed independent energy company focused on onshore natural gas exploration and development in Italy. Admitted to AIM in November 2023, the company holds a 100% interest in the Rapagnano exploration permit, located within the proven Po Valley Basin.

Helix’s strategy centres on identifying and unlocking conventional gas resources to contribute to Italy’s domestic energy supply. The Rapagnano permit contains the mature Rapagnano gas field, which previously produced, and the company aims to delineate additional resources and potential new discoveries within the permit area. Helix is positioned to benefit from Italy’s supportive policy environment for domestic gas production and its operational focus is on low-risk, conventional opportunities.
